Host a Food Drive

Thank you for your desire to help the families of Hancock County who have an immediate “crisis or emergency” and need the assistance we can provide by conducting a food drive for the Hancock County Food Pantry.

Make your food drive more efficient

  • Do not use containers that are too large to collect the food because they can be difficult or impossible for us to move when full. If this is not practicable, please plan to be able to break down these containers later. Banana boxes or milk crates are the most efficient. The Food Pantry will provide them on request.
  • Please sort the donated goods into categories such as corn, rice, soup, canned milk, etc. As an all-volunteer organization, it can sometimes be very difficult for us to provide the resources necessary to do this once we have received the unsorted food from you.
  • We will happily use our resources to pick up the food when you finish your drive. Please don’t hesitate to contact us for assistance. We’ll do our best to make your efforts a success. Call us at 228-467-2790.
